Data sources

The link next to a particular result matters most: it lets you check the document, the author and the date. Below are the places you can start from. This is a guide to the sources, not a confirmation that the data has been imported in full or that it is currently up to date.

The work of the Sejm

Information about MPs, interpellations (formal written questions to the government), Sejm papers and committees is published by the official Sejm API - documentation(in Polish). In Pryzmat, pick a record and check the original it points to, instead of treating a summary as the source.

Statements and official transcripts

On a debate page, start from the source context: the subject, the date and the sitting. An official transcript for a whole day may cover more items than a particular analysis does. Check who the quotation belongs to, the statements around it, and whether the text was delivered or only submitted for the record.

Documents, bills and declarations

A title or a summary does not replace the document. Compare the Sejm paper number, the date and the version of the material. Data read from a scan may contain errors - before you quote a figure, check the original PDF.

Connections and register records

For a relation, check its type, its date and the link to the register or document. A historical entry need not describe the situation today. Holding a stake in a company, sitting in a role and controlling a company are not the same thing.
