How information in Pryzmat is produced
Start with the source, the date and the range of the data. A figure or a quotation can be the basis of an interpretation, but it does not guarantee that the interpretation is correct. This is a guide to verification, not a declaration that every analysis is complete.
The pages and documents behind this one are in Polish
The data pages, the source documents and the existing analyses are in Polish, because the registers they come from are. Every link below that leads to a Polish page says so.
Source data, calculation, AI interpretation
- Source data
- Information from a public register or a document. Open the link and check the author, the date and the context. The absence of a link is not a confirmation of the information.
- Calculations and heuristic rules
- The result of applying a rule to particular data. Check the definition, the sample size (n), the period and the stated uncertainty. If the input is made up of AI assessments, a deterministic calculation does not remove their errors.
- AI interpretation
- An auxiliary assessment by the model, not an independent source of facts. A quotation has to be compared with the official transcript. A claim that can be checked does not mean a claim that is true.
What „aktualności” (recent items) means
A range of 7, 30 or 60 days applies to the dates of the events in UTC, including the current day. The date on which the list was generated does not make older events any newer. The ranking combines recency, the weight of an event and the interleaving of sections - it is a selection, not a full chronology and not an objective assessment of political importance.
Matters still awaiting a reply are shown separately and may come from before the selected period. An absence of entries does not prove an absence of work in the Sejm. A retrieval error is not an empty result.
Check the events and their dates(in Polish)How to read a debate assessment
The assessment describes the material that was analysed, not the whole of a politician's activity. A percentile indicates a position within the comparison set, not an absolute score of 0-100. The signal-to-noise indicator comes from the AI analysis; how it is determined depends on the version of the analysis. It is not a percentage of words confirmed as true. An interjection in the official transcript does not on its own prove that a speech was interrupted.
Before you quote or publish
- Open the source. Check who was speaking, when, and which item of the sitting it concerned.
- Compare the passage with the surrounding text; establish whether it was delivered or only submitted for the record.
- Check the period, the coverage, n and the version of the analysis. Without that information, verification is limited.
- Keep the quotation and the figures separate from your own commentary and from the AI interpretation.
Documentation of the methods and the coverage of the data are still being filled in. Historical analyses may contain errors; updating the code does not by itself correct them. If you notice a problem, send the address of the analysis and the source to [email protected].
